Second attempt at handmade paper!! So so much better than my first, it’s a lot thicker and more even. Also I’ve figured out that pencils don’t really work well but chalk pastels go on amazingly eeeee!!
So yesterday I hand-made paper and this morning it dried up enough for me to take it from its frame! I guess it was kinda expected that I’d screw up one side but, for my first shot, that’s okay. Then I tried drawing on it and it’s like drawing on a paper towel omg. Also it’s the light blue paper I’ve always wanted :A
Had this dream last night where I was drawing a guy… it was just so vivid and I remember my brain trying to work out where each line was supposed to go, like how I normally draw except this time… all the lines were in the right place and I wasn’t second guessing anything. Man I need more dreams like this |:
Old doodle, but always relevant. It doesn’t cover all of learning, because after you’ve drawn a lot you can always use guidance or tutelage to explore new avenues or refine techniques you’ve made for yourself. But the principle still applies.
Found this advertisement in New Idea (Australia) 1964! I want one.
After going to the Art Gallery of NSW today I just really really want to draw…Good thing mid sem break is less than a week away YAY!
