Totally Classy Stuff: Has anyone used rives bfk paper to draw on?

maliciousbee:

Normally I’d just go to an art store and feel the paper up, but since I’m 6+ hours from the nearest supply store and need to order online. SO HELP TUMBLR PEEPS.

Rives BFK is technically a printing paper, but I’ve seen some people use it for charcoal/colour pencil work, sooo I’m assuming it’s good…

I did printing (drypoint etching) this year but for the life of me I can’t remember what paper I used. I did, however, take some of the paper home to draw on because the creamy texture was an absolute dream and worked so well with pencils.
Hnng doesn’t really help that it could otherwise be another brand/type of paper… SORRY!
